We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively upsell products
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Stock shelves and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred)
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Ability to operate cash registers, POS systems, and other related equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wireless sales or technical sales is a plus
